FERNANDES RST LIMITED EDITION

Description

Fernandez's signature model from the 1980s, the ST model RST.
Alder body, maple 1-piece neck, 1-piece pickguard, small head
The pickup also appears to be a VS-2, and at first glance, the specs are close to the Revival series' 1957 model RST-50'57MODEL, but it is equipped with a Fernandes F key peg instead of the Krewson type, and the selector that was supposed to be 5-way is 3-way.
Perhaps because it is not an official revival series, the head decal is not THEREVIVAL, but LIMITEDEDITION, which was also on other models at the time.

The details are unclear as to whether it was produced as an original model from a musical instrument shop at the time, or if it was made with some kind of irregularity, but it is definitely one that will tickle the enthusiast's heart.
A pot with a different design is used for the front tone, but there are no signs of it being reattached, so we believe it to be genuine.
Although there are some slight scratches, there is little damage considering the model year and it looks relatively clean.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions.
The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod. There are some signs of slight waving and twisting, but it is in a straight condition considering its age. Playability is improved by matching the frets.
Therefore, the overall height of the frets is slightly lower, but there is still plenty of fret height.
There is no particular problem with playing, but there is some chatter.
Please enjoy it as horse mackerel.
