This Christmas greeting card dates to Christmas 1939.  It is from someone connected to the 306th Infantry Training Centre - although the card doesn't say where this is, from research I have found that it was at Auchengate Camp, Troon, Ayrshire in Scotland.   The card has a written greeting on the inside.  It has the badge of the centre on the front.  No publisher is credited.   The card measures 12.6cm x 10.2cm and opens out to double the width.   No envelope.  Nice piece of WWII memorabilia.

The card is in a good plus condition.    General edge, fold end and corner rubs, tiny creases at rear corners, rubbing and some light grubbiness along fold, tiny crease at bottom of spine, some small, light creases across spine, creases to ribbon at spine, some light marks to front panel, some tiny marks to front panel, light grubbiness, some light marks, some very small dents, a small dark mark and the odd tiny mark to rear panel, some marks along bottom edges on the inside of card, just a hint of browning and the odd very small and tiny mark to inside of card, the odd tiny bump to edges.   Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. I always refund any excess postage charges.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectables.
