Crafted in limited quantities and available for only a brief period, this Classic White ES-345 stands as one of the final reissues crafted within the renowned Memphis factory, now closed as production transitions to Gibson’s Nashville plant.
Impeccably mirroring the authentic details of its era, including the precise body shape, a 1964 neck profile, and hot-hide glue construction, the 1964 ES-345 Reissue embodies vintage perfection. Enhanced with Memphis Historic Spec (MHS) Pickups, meticulously designed for these faithful reproductions of traditional ES guitars, it delivers outstanding clean tones and subtle, bluesy crunch, complemented by versatile options courtesy of the Varitone system.
In terms of condition, our ES-345 showcases minimal signs of play, with only light wear marks evident. The finish remains in excellent condition, revealing only a few subtle surface marks. A slight indentation at the headstock peak and a lacquer crack at the nut are purely cosmetic, structurally sound, and have been captured in images for reference. The pristine, dark Indian rosewood fretboard and lightly used frets promise years of continued play. While the gold hardware exhibits a gentle tarnish, in line with the guitar's "VOS finish," the factory-aged aesthetic, all stock electronics operate seamlessly and as intended.
