Antique Victorian c.1897 Solid Sterling Silver Hallmarked Signed Shibayarma Stamp case or box with fancy detailed work on both sides and having a colourful Shibayarma Insect with a chinese signiture. Has Silver Hallmarks for the year 1897 and the hallmarks read:  ( LION )  ( X )  ( ANCHOR ) and the silver maker: ( C S * F S ) which is for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. Lastly we have looked on ebay and have not seen another Silver Victorian Stamp Box for sale so we think quite rare. Measures 51 mm opened up with the fixing ring or 27.6 mm by 26.5 mm closed up and not  with the fixing ring included and can be used as a small box or case or can be worn on a chain.

VERY GOOD CONDITION with no dents breaks or repairs and is 100% silver with full silver hallmarks.This was one of two different small shibayarma boxes that were found on a house clearance a while ago.
