This story was first published in Switzerland under the title Der Regenbogenfisch. It was translated by Alison James and published in 1992 by North-South Books, New York. 

It is beautifully illustrated with all illustrations featuring the fish with very colorful and sparkly scales. 

This book is in excellent and clean condition from cover to cover and measures 11-1/2"  x  8-1/2"
