Joseph McCarthy (R-Wisconsin) flashes a big smile while getting haircut from first cousin, Don McCarthy, at Appleton barbershop Wednesday. Fathers of two men were brothers. Senator McCarthy who recently had major operation, is on way back to Bethesda (Maryland) hospital for checkup. Photo measures 7 x 9.5inches. Photo is dated 8-29-1952.
