Tool Check Brass Tag: Goodyear Aerospace Co (Wheel & Brake Div); WWII Aviation

This is a 1-1/4" tool check brass tag from the Goodyear Aerospace Co (GAC) and its Wheel & Brake Division.

GAC was the aerospace and defense subsidiary of Goodyear. The company was originally operated as a division within Goodyear as the Goodyear Zeppelin Corp leading to the development of rigid airships. The division was spun off as Goodyear Aircraft Company in 1939. It produced military products during WWII including Goodyear F2G Corsair and Goodyear Duck. Afterwards, it developed synthetic aperture radar.  By 1963 major product lines included radar, aircraft canopies, bulletproof glass, a number of spacecraft related products.

Tool checks were used by factory workers to requisition tools from the tool crib.

Our policy is Customer Satisfaction.

Please ask questions when needed.

Combined shipping discounts almost always apply!

If a problem develops, contact us to assess what can be done; this is more reasonable than "opening a case" without communication.

Returns honored in appropriate situations. Refund generally

to be made to buyer for high bid amount only.

We do not pay for shipping on returns for reasons such as not paying attention to descriptions or making up a bogus reason

and never on international shipments. We ship quickly & economically and can validate that an item has been shipped and received via domestic tracking. We have no control of the USPS so please be patient. On international shipments, can validate that the item was received by the postal service, but will not be responsible for an item lost in your country's local

customs office or for customs fees. Local pick-up is always an option. Primary focus is value & service.

Lastly, please don't make unreasonable offers on fixed price listings.

Please do not make ridiculous offers on fixed price listings

On multiple purchases please "commit to buy" but not pay until we can revise the invoice for multiple items shipping cost. If we refund shipping after the fact, then Ebay does not refund transaction fees and thus the cost of the transaction is higher.  For the best cost, allow me to refund shipping on the invoice -- else, shipping discount won't be maximized

Unfortunately, I have no control of the postal service. If you have issues with delivery or tracking, please address with those are responsible for providing that service. Experience shows that >99% of the time they do a fine, prompt job.Not responsible for items held in customs on international shipments.............  please do not  message me by making ridiculous offers on fixed price items
