Hello.

The item you are bidding on is a 1965 Coca-Cola Canadian Football League bottle cap depicting Bernie Faloney of the Montreal Alouettes.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, whom he quarteracked to the 1952 Sugar Bowl and 1954 Orange Bowl, Faloney played for Edmonton, Montreal and mostly the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1957-65) in the CFL. He won the Grey Cup with Edmonton in 1954, and two more with the Ticats. He was an Eastern Conference all-star five times and was named the league’s most outstanding player in 1961. He’s a member of both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. His number, 10, was the first to be retired by the Ticats, in 1999.

This set consists of 230 bottle caps measuring approximately 1 1/8" in diameter. The caps feature a black and white picture on the tops with the caption Drink Coke in red.

This cap has the kind of scratches on the surface you might expect of a 58-year-old piece but it remains an excellent specimen. The cork lining of the cap is intact, in perfect condition.

Your cap will be shipped anywhere in North America, via Canada Post, in a padded envelope, at a cost of $10. I do combine shipping on multiple items, at an additional cost of 25 cents per stamp, or $1 per additional card, lot, cap or coin. ATTN CANADIAN BUYERS: I will reduce the shipping cost to $3, same specs for additional items.

IF YOU WIN MORE THAN ONE ITEM, please wait for an invoice to pay. Otherwise, I cannot reduce the shipping cost to the combined total.

Good luck!
