*Please be advised that a 9VAC (NOT DC) power supply is absolutely mandatory for this model of the Whammy. The pedal will not work correctly with the wrong power supply. Using the incorrect power supply will most likely damage the pedal.

The Whammy 4 requires a 9V AC power supply, not DC. The standard power supply for most pedals will be 9V DC. Using a DC power supply, a daisy chain, or a power brick will cause the pedal to not work correctly. The manual specifically calls for a 9VAC PS750 power supply.
