Early Arts &Craft Grandfather  Rocking Armchair Carver with turned back spindles.

An absolutely beautiful and very early Arts and Crafts Rocking Armchair that has just been reupholsterered with a wool tartan check fabric.

This is a very old chair that has seen many generations of the same family.

It has cracks, historical repairs and signs of historical woodworm that has been fully treated.

Striking black framed with turned spindles across the central section.

Characteristic surface wear on the frame which adds charm and originality.
