Currently, we have a workshop in Ome City, Tokyo, and the highest quality sound is created by a small number of people.
With its creative ideas that always give form to the real voices of the players who are active in the field, it is now showing off its sound quality at the recording sites of many artists.
The stainless steel frets "Hybrid-2" are cryo-treated using a unique method to create a clear, high-response intonation sound, and this can be said to be a distinctive feature of the Dragonfly.
By performing this treatment, the stainless steel becomes harder, which not only improves the sound, but also minimizes fret wear, which is the fate of consumable parts.
It has been tested by professional musicians to ensure its durability no matter how frequently it is used.
Using carefully selected materials, we are able to manufacture only about 20 pieces a year to ensure high rigidity. Each piece is custom produced.
The lineup starts from 5 strings, with a 35 inch scale, 24 frets, and a string spacing of 19 mm.
The solid finish common to all units is not a typical sound image such as a smooth sound or an easy-to-handle sound, but a very modern, responsive intonation like a modern passive bass, and a high-fidelity sound even when active. It has an exquisitely equalized preamp sound that is neither too lo-fi nor too lo-fi, and the sound changes with the mid frequency switch and preamp, making it easy to create nuances and enjoy changing depending on how you play.
The low end is clear, the middle position has a firm and elastic percussive tone, and the high position has a mellow and warm high-end sound.
It also has the rich sound of a passive bass, making it possible to create a wide range of sounds in various situations such as home recording.
