Gorgeous Antique/Vintage Louis XVI Style Round Galleried Marble Top Pedestal/Side Table

This is a truly beautiful little pedestal/side table that we bought in France from a brocante near to La Rochelle in the South West Region.

It is in very good overall condition.
The top is a black marble, and it is surrounded with a fine patterned brass gallery.
We think that the wood maybe a Rosewood Veneer, but are by no means certain on that.
The piece is in the style of Louis XVI, but from searching other very similar looking items on the internet, we think it is likely that it is early 20th century.

Please see below an almost identical table (with the exception of the marble colour)

It stands on slim tapered legs, that are capped with brass feet.
It has a low round shelf, and a single drawer with very nice dovetail joints.

There are some marks on the table, as to be expected for a vintage piece of furniture (please see photos for best overall representation of the condition). There is also very small bend in the gallery, so that the metalwork is not perfectly round. This is almost imperceptible, but is something I noticed over time. (Please see close up photo).

We have recently applied a new coat of boiled linseed oil to enhance the overall sheen.
