Beautiful Marantz CD17 in absolutely immaculate condition and perfect working order.

Unmarked all over bar a few almost imperceptible marks on the top where I have had it as part of my system for about 7 years.

If I’m being ultra critical the cd tray does click a little when opening and closing. I’ve checked the mechanism thoroughly and on one of the plastic toothed cogs, there is very slight wear on one of the teeth. I have applied some lithium grease for plastic and it’s a lot quieter now. It’s been like this throughout my ownership and never got any worse. I’ve also checked the belt and it’s still tight with no play.

That aside, this beast of a machine looks, plays and sounds amazing as you’d expect from something that cost upwards of £800 when new.

Comes with original remote and instructions.

Will be packaged securely and insured for postage but obviously I’d prefer collection if you’re at all local. It weighs in at almost 9kg so expect to pay appropriate postage.

* I have been asked about the fact the laser mechanism looks wonky. Multiple YouTube videos show the insides of this machine. Theres nothing untoward, this is how it was designed regardless of how unpleasing it is on the eye *
