Do you have a child or know of a child around 6-8 years old? This K'NEX starter set is a great way to get them interested in building "stuff". They can start by building any one of the three cars listed in the photos (set includes pieces to build each model, one at a time).
And once you build the Race Car, they can play with it. Or, they can dismantle and make something from their own mind. And if they don't have enough pieces, K'NEX is easy to expand (come back to ebay to find more including my listings!). I think it is easy to get hooked on K'NEX and it really develops their creative thinking. They were a huge success in my house (my son build ball carriers from K'NEX even in high school).
