An unusual plate from Parrott & Company, who were in operation 1921-64. The backstamp for the item dates this to 1935 and after.
The plate is off-square, with slightly buldged edges. each corner has impressed decoration. The rim has blue brush markings,
The centre of the plate carries a scene which appears to represent some form of Japanese theatre.
