A Japanese Meiji period blue and white / 'Sometsuke' pear shaped vase depicting a scene that feature a eagle and other birds amongst the trees and flora.
Uncertain of the type of pottery but I think its Arita ware.
In great overall condition with a small hairline crack to the rim.
