Description: Outstanding Eight Day Tiger Maple Tall Case Clock bench made by James S. Schott, owner of Perkiomen Clock Company in Schwenksville, PA. Mr. Schott hand made each clock and works one at a time in the 18th century and early 19th century. Clock features a broken bonnet with Rosettes on each side, three urn shaped finials, arched dial door flanked by columns. Hand Painted iron dial with Roman dial numerals signed James S. Scott, Schwenksville, four spandrel areas decorated with American shields designs. A lunar calendar or moon phrase in the arch of the dial with an American eagle. Chippendale thin waist resting on base with ogee bracket feet. Clock includes weights, pendulum, key and winder. 

Condition Report: Beautiful bench made case with slight scuffs and scratches. Face has original paint and moon dial with faux crazing. The clock has not been tested and worked at testing. We do not guarantee the working conditions of clocks and highly recommend hiring a professional clock person to clean, service and install the clock after delivery. 

Buyer responsible to arrange and pay for shipping. Buyer may pick up locally for free, however local pickup without shipper must pay Ohio sales tax of 6.5%.
