This vintage BALL MASON (reworked Root mold - Red Book #239) yellow-green quart canning jar with a Ball porcelain-lined zinc cap is in good condition.  One side of the jar is embossed with the words BALL MASON.  There is a mold letter D and two raised dots embossed on the base.  Including the zinc cap, the jar is approximately 7" tall.  As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including bubbles in the glass.  The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including expected rim wear and surface scratches.  The jar has a bruise shown in photos #10 and 11.  Please look at the photos carefully.  They are an important part of the description.  If you have any questions, please ask before you buy.
