Hi Rene: We are happy that you are pleased. The fabric of the dress is very early and rare.
The antique lace that I used on the sleeves and bodice is frail but exquisite and so early as well and the only piece of it we have ever had. I saved it for years for just the right doll. The stomacher fabric is very rare and early as well and came off of a 18th century Crèche figure whose dress was in tatters.
The slip fabric is amazing piece of the finest antique cotton with wonderful hand work on it, again a rarity and only one or two of our dolls have such rare fabric for the undergarments.
The doll itself is one of our favourites as well. She has a really great antique human hair wig as well under her bonnet, which the bonnet is removable by the way if you ever want to display her with her hair showing. Her wig is particularly detailed.
All in all, one of our best and she feels and moves like a antique wooden when you hold her also.
