Bunya wood is used for the top, black wood is used for the sides, back and neck, and acacia wood called murga is carefully selected for the fingerboard.
It outputs a sound rich in overtones, which is different from other Mayton models.
This dreadnought-shaped instrument has impressive volume and bass, and is the representative guitar for SSW among Meiton.
The top gloss finish and wooden binding were first introduced on the 70th anniversary model. It is finished with a special feeling everywhere, such as the head decal using pearls.

A new painting method that allows a special urethane paint to be cured in a few seconds by irradiating it with ultraviolet light.
Currently, a relatively wide variety of manufacturers perform this type of painting, but Meiton is able to achieve the thinnest coating possible by manually applying ultraviolet rays.
The durability of the paint film, which has a hardness comparable to that of marble, is also attractive.

When shipped from the factory, Mayton's guitars are set up with a string height of 2.25mm on the 12F on the 6th string side and 1.75mm on the 1st string side, which is the lowest value among mass-produced manufacturers.
This value can only be achieved through highly precise woodworking techniques and thorough monitoring of the moisture content of the wood.
After completion, we perform thorough quality control by leaving the strings on for four days to check the movement of the neck.

Tommy Emmanuel commissioned Mayton to create a pickup system for live use, and it took more than 10 years to develop.
