Illustrated with some photo reproductions; no dust jacket. Original, not a reprint.

This book offers an amazing amount of information on printing as a trade, beginning long before the start of this organization. It is arranged in three sections: “The Printer Since Movable Type,” “ITU Laws and Fundamental Principles,” and “ITU Philosophy of Unionism.” A list of national meetings is at the end of the book, and includes the names and offices of many of the primary leaders through the history.

Collecting categories: printing, and printing history; book history; genealogy, because of the listings of prominent leaders; and of course the ITU itself.

Book condition is “good” or a bit better: binding is solid, with everything securely intact; no marks in or out; some external wear. Please see listing pics.

          Careful wrapping and fast shipping.

Please look around the store. Lots of books, quilt & cross stitch patterns, car mags & catalogs, home décor, and many more treasures-- and more listed every day.

Combined shipping when possible, of course, to save you a few more $$.
