One (1) antique to vintage Burmese yun (incised) lacquer document holder.  Wood cylinder with removable cap covered in lacquer.  Intricate incised details with three different colors- red, yellow and black.  Used to hold important documents or petitions to be presented to officials.  1900-1950's.  Good condition- minor wear, many chips to lacquer and inside rim has been glued (see picture #9).  Some paint smudges (see picture #4).  Measures 15 3/4 inches long and 2 5/8 inches wide.  See my other Burmese lacquer pieces and Chinese and Japanese antiques.  Shipping will be by USPS Ground Advantage-$8.97 including insurance.  Shipping price is calculated from California to the East Coast.  If shipping is lower you will be refunded the difference (if more than one dollar).  Please email me for shipping cost if you have any questions.  Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
