Along with it is an invitation to the official opening in the same year of the zoos new £150,000 extension, which provided new enclosures for the zoos yellow-breasted capuchins, ring-tail lemurs, meerkats, squirrel monkeys and more. Rarely seen due to their vulnerable format not being conducive to longevity, this seldom seen commemorative brochure and even rarer invitation is unused and in ‘like new’ condition despite its 14 years.
