This is the 2017 PaulReedSmithPrivateStockCustom241-PieceCurlyMapleTop&AfricanBlackwoodF.B., which is equipped with the PRSRPSet that was standard on the first-generation ModernEagle and uses BonniePinkCrossfade that reproduces the crossfade color seen on vintage PRS.
This instrument uses 1-PieceCurlyMaple for the top of the body, lightweight 1-PieceLightwightAfricanMahogany for the body back, AfricanBlackwood that is reminiscent of black Brazilian Rosewood for the fingerboard, and Mahogany for the neck. The neck shape uses PatternRegular, which is the standard shape among PRS.
The pickup is equipped with PRSRPSet, which was standard on the first-generation ModernEagle, and operates as a coil tap switch by pulling up the tone knob.
This machine is in good condition with almost no noticeable scratches and only some minor scratches on the metal parts. The neck is in good condition and there is plenty of room for both forward and reverse warping of the truss rod. There is almost no wear on the nut and frets, and the electrical system is in good condition.
