Gibson Hummingbird 1966

Description

The Hummingbird was released in 1960 as Gibson's first square shoulder acoustic guitar. This device is one made in 1966. Normally the scale of Hummingbird is 628.65mm scale, but this product is an irregular product with full scale of 647.7mm scale. The full-scale hummingbird is an irregular specification that was often seen in the early 60's when DOVE was introduced, but it is a rare pattern in the narrow neck 14 degree head angle era from 1965 onwards. Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, Jacaranda fingerboard, Jacaranda bridge, Jacaranda adjustable saddle, original pickguard, double parallelogram fingerboard inlay, double ring rosette, original Kluson tulip button gold pegs, non-scallop bracing. You can enjoy the clanging percussive sound and the pleasant body rumble at the same time, and the full scale specification makes it possible to enjoy the crisp tone that is unique to this instrument. Only the consumable parts nuts have been replaced, but everything else is original. There are weather checks on the overall paint, scratches, and dents, but no cracks and no cracks in the wood. The neck is in good condition and the playing condition is excellent. It's rare to find one in such a beautiful condition. Comes with a general-purpose chipboard hard case.
