Set of Jim Roslof colorful "glass screened" graphic illustrations of animals flying airplanes. Matched pair includes an orange giraffe in a bright yellow biplane and a gray hippopotamus in a green airplane flying among the bright white clouds on a sunny blue day. The glass on one picture identifies the source of the art as Intercraft Industries of Chicago - where Roslof worked in the 70s prior to becoming the director of an American fantasy game publishing firm and publisher of Dungeons & Dragons. Roslof's distinctive signature is visible on the wing of the yellow plane. The frames are about 1" deep with graphics printed both on the glass cover and below it, creating a unique 3-D effect.

This simple, colorful, and amusing set would be perfect to decorate a nursery or child's room. They are also a collectible early work of famous illustrator, Jim Roslof.

Frames are slightly rusty.
