Fab pair of nylon swimming trunks or shorts by St Michael (Marks & Spencer).  The trunks have orange, black and white vertical stripes, and there is a drawstring waistband for a snug fit.  100% nylon, machine washable.  The approximate measurements are:

waist (when laid flat) 32" (81cm), inside leg 2" (5cm), outside leg 10" (25cm)
