Antique- Vintage Set of French Majolica Duck Pitchers 1920s,1950s,1970s and 1990.

Here we offer the progression of the St. Clement Majolica Duck pitchers through the years.

Notice photos 3 & 4 are the oldest and only true antique bearing the St.Clement Logo and France raised letters France tell us this piece is Pre- 1922.

Photos 5 & 6 show the base and head of a Vintage St Clement Pitcher also made for Garnier in the 1950s.

One of these variations just sold at auction for $100.

This one is .5” shorter but they still have the same pouring beak hole .

This one’s head is darker blue and it still has a fill hole that fits a cork.

Although made to hold Garnier Liquer, none of these bottles/ pitchers contain alcohol.

Photos 7 & 8 show 1970s version and it has grown back to approximately 13” or about .5” taller than the 1950s version and this head is more greenish.

It also has a different pouring Beak and filling point by the handle.

These were more frequently used for water or occasionally Table wine.

Photos 9 & 10 show a version from the 1990s . It is very similar to the 1970s Duck but lighter in color and weight.
