One (1) antique to vintage Japanese Traveling Shrine (Zushi).  Wooden shrine containing an intricately carved wooden figure of a Buddhist monk sitting on a gold gilt log.  Carved figure looks much older than the shrine, probably Edo Period.  Shrine is late Meiji to Taisho Period 1900-1920's.  Good condition- no damage or missing pieces. Shrine measures 6 1/8 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches wide and 3 5/8 inches thick.  Monk figure measures 4 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches wide.  See my many other Japanese altar figures and Japanese and Chinese antiques.  Shipping will be by Priority Mail-$20.30 including insurance.  Shipping price is calculated from California to the East coast.  If shipping is lower, you will be refunded the difference (if more than a dollar).  Please email me for shipping cost if you have any questions.  Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
