Fiber Optic Mini Accessory Lighting Kit!

This Lighting Kit makes it easy for you to light up your fiber optic fiber and install them in your project to get a professional looking finished project EZ. This kit has all very small size components and is perfect for small size models and projects where you have limited space.

It's very easy to customize this kit to fit your needs. You can add extra wire to your illuminators make them longer or cut it down to an inch or smaller if you don't have much room. You can hook up from 1 to 3 or more illuminators to one tiny coin cell battery. You get everything in the picture below to make 2 complete illuminator circuits and more. Complete instructions included. Please read the descriptions to see what's included.

Please note: This kit will work great for all fiber optic fiber but I don't recommend the coin cell batteries or glue in this kit be used with the Neon Glow fiber. Epoxy Glue and 9v or higher batteries are recommended for use with Neon Glow fiber.

You get the following items as in the picture above:

2 Super bright white Mini LED illuminators, 2 Mini on/off slide switches, 2 Mini on/off push button switches, 2 Mini On/off momentary swithes, 2 coin cell battery holders, 2 CR2032 super long lasting Lithium coin cell batteries, 2 tubes of super fast 3 second setting Super Glue, 4 feet of extra hookup wire, 5 Mini cable ties and 8 inches of Heat Shrink Tubing.

You get Two (2) super bright white Mini LED illuminators 20,000mcd. These have a built in resister so you can use 3 to 12 volts DC power. They have super long life rated at 100,000 hours. These Mini illuminators are about 1/2 the size of my standard illuminators but will hold about 2/3rds as much fiber as the standard size. These are perfect for small models or anywhere you don't have room for a standard size illuminator.

These make it easy to light up your fiber optic fibers. The illuminators can be installed inside or outside of a model and anywhere on your project. They are very easy to use and can hold from 1 to 100 fibers depending on the fiber diameter.

The 1st picture below shows 2 Mini illuminators like you get in this kit next to a US penny. The 2nd picture below shows the size of a Mini illuminator compared to a standard size illuminator.

If you need the larger standard size illuminators with this kit please ask me to substitute them for the Mini illuminators.

You get Two 3 volt coin cell battery holders and 2 CR2032 Lithium coin cell batteries. These batteries are about the size of a US penny and are super long lasting. At the time I'm writing this I've had 1 battery running 1 illuminator for over 3 week and on 24/7 and it is still as bright as the day I connected it. That's over 500 hours of use so far. You can connect 3 or more illuminators to one battery. If you want a "plug in your wall" type power adapter please ask me about them. I have some in stock at low cost.

Six (6) switches. You get 2 mini on/off slide swtiches, 2 mini on/off push button switches. These stay on until you turn them off. You also get 2 on/off push button momentary switches. These only stay on only while you hold the button down. These are great for any interactive lighting like guns firing etc. You can install one or all of these switches on your project or in a remote location. These give you 3 switch options. These are all very tiny and easy to install.

These little switches are AWESOME and are so small they will not distract from your model when installed! They have only 2 pins on the bottom which makes connecting them super easy. Just twist your positive (red) wires onto these pins and bend the pins over with your finger or needle nose pliers to hold the wires in place. You can solder the wires if you want to. The second picture below shows how an illuminator looks connected to the battery holder and switch.

You get 4 feet of hookup wire. This is great if you want to mount your battery or switches in a remote location or just need to make the wires longer. You also get 5 mini cable ties to keep your wiring/fiber runs neat. The cable ties are also a great way to hold the illuminators in place if you don't want to glue them. Another item I've included are 2 tubes of super fast setting super glue. Many types of super glue will damage fiber optic fiber. I've had great results with this glue on end glow fiber so I'm including 2 tubes in this kit. Use very sparingly. I don't recommend this glue for Neon Glow fiber, Epoxy glue is best for Neon Glow fiber. You also get 8 inches of Heat Shrink tubing. This makes it easy to cover your wire splices or any bare wire without having to use electrical tape.
