Larrivee LV-10 Madagascar RW FrendShip Model Anniversary 2006

Description

The brand was founded in 1967 by Jean Larrivie in Toronto, Canada. With an innovative structure based on classical guitar production, it has solidified its position since the 1970s. In addition, the beautiful inlay work created by his wife Wendy has become the face of Laribee luxury models with its high design and carving skills. Currently, production continues at the workshop in Southern California, which was established in 2001. The strong, clear, and clear tone that is rooted in his classical guitar roots has a character that sets it apart from other acoustic guitar brands. This device was manufactured at the end of 2006, and released in 2007 as a luxury anniversary model to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Raribee. Each model was manufactured in limited numbers during the same period. The LV-10 Madagascar MR has a Venetian cutaway on the traditional L-shape of Laribee. This is a rare item with only 25 pieces produced. The first thing to note is the high quality of the wood used, which is unique to Jean Larrivee, who also has the aspect of being a wood supplier. The top is selected from the finest AAA red spruce, which is rarely seen with such fine grain. The sides and back are made of high-quality, deep-shaded Madagascan rosewood, and African black ebony fingerboard.Bridge , South American mahogany neck, maple body binding, and top structure is Laribee's traditional symmetrical x-bracing. Human head inlay and Avalon shell fingerboard inlay, which can be said to be one of Laribee's identities, feature the words FriendShipAnniversary. This is the first anniversary model after relocating to California, and it features specifications befitting a commemorative model, with a traditional base and modern elements incorporated into the fundament. It has a solid and mellow sound image reminiscent of early Raribee, with good separation of each note, and a sufficient volume with a sense of mass. The excellent tone balance that aims for the sound of an authentic classical guitar is also attractive. Replaced different pins at the neck heel and end. A pickup has been installed in the past, and there is a jack-sized hole in the body end. The bulge on the side low on the 1st string side, the wood repair and touch-up repair near the binding, the binding repair in the same area, the same repair on the bottom end 6th string side, the rest is in relatively good condition and easy to play. Because the action is well-balanced in position, this guitar is recommended not only for finger enthusiasts who want to move back and forth across the fingerboard, but also for all players. A valuable limited edition model. Comes with original hard case.
