Gorreana Moinha Preto comes from the Gorreana Tea Plantation, the oldest and only tea plantation in Europe, located on the island of São Miguel in the Azores, Portugal. The Gorreana Plantation was founded in 1883 and is known for its high-quality tea cultivation, including Moinha Preto, a unique black tea that impresses with its special taste and aromas.

The Bourbon vanilla bean
Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise. Use a sharp knife for this. Scrape the vanilla seeds lengthwise out of the vanilla pod. Add the vanilla seeds obtained this way to your dish and enjoy the unique scent and taste of real Bourbon vanilla. The vanilla seeds are ideal for cakes, créme brulee, ice cream and any other pastries or chocolates. You can put the empty vanilla pod in a sealed jar with sugar and get delicious bourbon vanilla sugar. Alternatively, you can add the empty vanilla bean to any other dish that is being cooked. The vanilla pod then gives off its excellent aroma to fruits, for example. Remove the empty vanilla bean before serving. The empty vanilla pod gives every dish an excellent taste.
The bourbon vanilla extract
Bourbon vanilla extract is the optimal substitute for a vanilla bean in any recipe. Basically, 2 teaspoons of Bourbon vanilla extract correspond to one medium-sized vanilla bean. Bourbon vanilla extract has the advantage that it can be used immediately, for example for ice cream, vanilla sauce in cakes and cookies, etc. The Bourbon vanilla extract not only tastes great, it also looks good in any recipe thanks to the vanilla seeds it contains.
The Bourbon vanilla powder
We recommend that you use the vanilla powder in any dish in which you want the exceptional taste and aroma of Bourbon vanilla and, in addition, the finely speckled look of natural vanilla. The vanilla powder does not dissolve even when cooking, so that not only the unique aroma but also the appearance is fully preserved. Half a teaspoon corresponds to a medium vanilla pod. The Bourbon vanilla powder can completely replace a Bourbon vanilla pod and the vanilla extract and has the advantage that it can be used immediately and no preparatory work is required.
