The maple fingerboard option was restarted around 1968 and around 1969, and the maple fingerboard option was added and produced in maple. After that, due to factors such as production efficiency, it was transitioned to a 1pc maple neck. It has a very short lifespan of only two years, making it a rare and highly prized spec even in the vintage market. Personally, I think that not only is it rare, but when you compare a 1pc maple neck and a bonded maple fingerboard, there is a clear difference in sound, and the fact that it has a sound character that cannot be obtained with a 1pc maple neck is also a reason for its high rarity. I think this is reflected in this.
Alder body, maple fingerboard, maniac specs of maple neck, and HWVINTJ-BASS pickup set. The fingerboard radius is 7.25R and has vintage-like specs with medium jumbo frets. The reproduction of the sound that gives you the unique compression feeling that is unique to maple is superb. The combination of alder and maple produces a sound with a thick and glossy core that makes you feel like the bottom is coming out, and it also has the clarity unique to maple and has good pronunciation. Even if you want to try maple on a fender base, I think there are few opportunities to come across one.
