There are a couple of specific differences between the Generation 2 Model and the Generation 1 Model.  THE Gen 2 Model is Bluetooth compatible. This means that you can download the Cel-Fi Wave. Cel-Fi-Go-X or the Cel-Fi-Go-M app to monitor and optimize your system. The other difference is that the improved Gen 2 can boost T-Mobile Bands 2, 4, and 12. The Gen 1 will only boost Band 4
