   For sale is an antique solid sterling silver saratoga chip server with a gold washed 

bowl in the LOUIS XV pattern (introduced in 1891) by Whiting Manufacturing Co.  

The piece measures 8 7/8" long and weighs 78 grams.  Stamped with the Whiting 

maker's mark, STERLING and PAT. 1891.  Additionally, it is marked with the name

of the retailer: STARK (STARR?) WEATHER & ALLEN, location unknown.

   This piece is in excellent used condition.  Gently hand cleaned to take photos;

it is marked with a monogram (G)..
