An Associated Press pin for the 1939 Annual Meeting in Chicago once belonging to Amon Carter Sr. an important historical and civic leader of Fort Worth, Texas who amassed a fortune though his media and oil empires. This was purchased at an estate sale of his daughter in law, George Ann Brown Carter Bahan, widow of Amon Carter Jr. I will provide the provenance of the address of the sale, the ownership shown of the property as well as information on George Ann providing her history with Amon Carter Jr.  A unique opportunity to obtain a piece of normal historical interest but with a unique provenance. Pin and box are in excellent condition but the card to which the badge was pinned is no longer present. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.

Please see my other sales and auctions for additional curiosities, oddities, fossils, minerals, antiques, antiquities, art, books, toys, collectibles and clothing.  Don't hesitate to contact me with questions. I combine items for reduced shipping but in order to do this you must place the items in your shopping cart and request an invoice. I will send an invoice with the combined shipping charges from which you can pay.  If there are multiple item auctions you have won, let me know they are to be combined before you pay, and I can send an invoice with the combined shipping charges as well.  Once you have paid, I cannot reduce the shipping charges.  Postage will be paid by buyer for returns and refund will consist of the purchase price, less my shipping cost unless the item is not as described. Item must be returned in the same condition as received and must be packed as well as originally shipped. In the event you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me to resolve the issue.  I am very proud of my positive feedback and try hard to represent items honestly to the best of my ability.  Thanks very much for looking.
