I am selling a Hopi sterling silver pin/broach/pendant made and signed by Lawrence Saufkie. There are two facing bear claws on its face. The pendant is 2 3/4" in diameter. The large size makes it a rare and unusual pin. It weighs 1.345 troy oz. which is 41.8 grams. I called it a pin/pendant because on the back there is a locking pin so it will act as a pin or broach but there is also a clip so it could be put on a chain to act as a pendant. This pendant was made by  Hopi artist Lawrerce Saufkie. Lawrence was a major proponent of Hopi overlay, where the design is usually one continuous cut and is then soldered to the silver sheet below, thus the name overlay. He passed in 2011. He was recognized by the American Museum of Natural History and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southwestern Association of Indian Arts. Please look at the photos to determine condition and value for yourself and contact me with any questions, thanks.

Please note: There is a Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet by Lawrence Saufkie with a matching design listed separately. Will consider lower price if buying both.
