Description

BRICH, known as an electric guitar brand, began in the mid-1960s as a guitar-making workshop in Los Angeles by BERNARDOCHAVEZRICO.
In the late 1960s, due to the popularity of folk music at the time, we began producing and selling acoustic guitars under the brand name BRICH.
Electric guitars with original designs such as the Mockingbird, Eagle, and Bitch that were introduced in 1974 became very popular, and production of acoustic guitars ended in the late 1970s, making the company popular all over the world as an electric guitar manufacturer.
The instrument in question is a handmade instrument produced in the mid-1970s, and is the model featured in the 1978 catalog.
Luxury specs, featuring a head with a unique design unique to late models, and Brazilian rosewood.
It has a glossy and powerful box sound with a good start, and a rich sound that gives you a warm feeling.
This is an extremely rare model that is rarely seen.
At that time, it was imported to Japan, but it was very expensive, so it seems that very few were sold.
The top is German spruce, the sides and back are 3-piece Brazilian rosewood, and it has an ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge.
Herringbone binding, underfinished tortoiseshell colored pickguard, and position markings are cloud-shaped Avalon inlays.
The pegs are Grover 102 gold and work smoothly.
Consumable parts such as nut replacement, refret rubbing adjustment, and saddle replacement are well maintained.
The internal bracing structure is Martin-type X-bracing, but it has a unique pattern of tone bar structure, and is made with the precision that is unique to a handmade instrument.
It is shiny and in very good condition, but there is a crack that needs to be repaired in the lower right corner of the top. There is also a tip location for the fingerboard cell.
It is a slightly thick regular grip neck with a nut width of about 43.0 mm. The adjustment rod works well and has plenty of room.
On the 12th fret, the 6th string is 2.2mm and the 1st string is 1.6mm, making it easy to play and well balanced even in high positions.
There is almost no room for the saddle height, but if you want to lower it further, tighten the adjustment rod to lower it a little more.
That said, it's still pretty low, so I think if you lower it too much, you'll spoil the solid tone with a good start.
It's crisp and bright, has a good start-up, and sounds powerful.
The grain is clear, the tone is light, and the bass has a rich volume, making it a well-balanced instrument with a good sound.
It has a dry feel and good response, and it sounds gorgeous with a clear and sparkling tone.
Although it is not as delicate and lustrous as the Martin, it has a powerful and crisp sound with a nice core that is typical of Jacaranda.
From light finger-touch play to dynamic strokes, this is an enjoyable instrument with expressive sounds.
Comes with original hard case.
This is an extremely rare model that you probably won't have a chance to see next time.
