Description
Along with HORIZON, M-IICTM is the main model of the ESP brand. The basic specifications of the 3-piece hard maple through-neck structure, alder wing body, 24 frets, and 2 humbuckers, which have been unchanged for over 30 years since its birth, have remained the same, but the specifications have been changed to include even more variations.
First, the pickup mounting method is now a direct method that attaches directly to the hanging escutcheon body, resulting in a tighter sound. At the same time, the pickups were also changed to a more modern sounding EMG57TW EMG66TW set. By raising the volume knob, the bridge side pickup becomes single mode, and by raising the tone knob, the neck side pickup becomes single mode.
A fixed type bridge that attaches directly to the body has been added to the lineup. By stretching the strings from the back of the body, the tension is slightly stronger, creating a sound with a more pronounced attack.
