Alder body, quartersawn maple neck, rose fingerboard (round). Equipped with H WVINT pickup as a set. This is a lefty model configured with 1962 specs. Although it has a NOS finish, the fences are installed from the factory, so cracks, paint chips, and mounting marks can be seen around the mounting screw holes of the fence. There are other small scratches and dents, as well as paint chips around the joints. There is almost no wear on the frets, and there is plenty of truss rod left, so it is in good playing condition.
It produces an exemplary jazz bass sound with a good balance. Although the characteristics of maple are more pronounced due to the round material, it also has a strong core that can withstand hard picking with a strong attack. There is no feeling of lack of thickness in the low mid, and the sound is thick and clear.
