Alright, listen up... you know how you go thrifting (or Craigslisting or Facebook Marketplacing or Antiquing) for old cameras? And you know how a lot of them are in old disgusting smelly dusty dirty gross bags that are falling apart and barely worth the time it takes to throw them in the garbage?

These ARE NOT those bags. These are the good ones I kept!

They were just in too good of condition and had too good of retro vibes to throw them in the trash.

So why did I keep them?

1. The fake leather isn't chipping or flaking off
2. They don't smell! I mean, they might have a slight smell but it's nothing gross like: mustiness, smoke, pet odor, other nastiness
3. Some of them are actually really kinda cool

I sold a bunch of retro camera straps I thought nobody would ever buy (for $50!) and that got me thinking I should maybe list these in a lot because if you're someone who runs a camera store (they're coming back!) or sells cameras at swap meets or flea markets or you've got a sweet vintage booth or whatever... these would be really cool to have.

Now these aren't impeccable by any means - there's dust and debris on some of them inside or in the corners. They need to be detailed but once they are fully detailed they'll be pretty dang nice, TBH.

More info if you're curious...

Top left: This is a fake leather hard case bag with brass-colored buckles and snaps. There's a photo of the inside of this one and you'll see that there's a plastic piece inside that will fit an SLR camera. It also has very rigid permanent dividers. This one's one of the cooler ones of the lot.

Top right:  Faux suede. Very soft. Gray. Silver metal buckles. Needs to be vacuumed out.

SECOND ROW

Left: Total '70s vibes with this one. A very plastic-like faux leather. Gold/brass buckles. Great seventies vibes.

Right: This is one of the "cheaper" ones of the lot. I mean, they're all kinda cheap but this one is a faux black leather (vinyl?) strap and trim with the main part of the bag being a gray cloth material. Silver metal buckles.

THIRD ROW

Left: Faux black leather (vinyl?) strap and trim with the main part of the bag being a gray cloth material. Silver metal buckles.

Right: Faux leather. Black. Thrift store wrote the price in silver sharpie on it - probably can remove it with some rubbing alcohol or another cleaner. This bag needs a good surface cleaning as well.

BOTTOM

Small leather rangefinder camera bag/case. Cool red lining inside.

2ND PICTURE

"Buckskin Sidekick" - this is a hard case as well. Tall and narrow. It has a green felt material inside. Faux brown suede. This is probably the coolest one out of all of them. A guy kept his Minolta Rangefinder in it for trips and vacations.

All of these need to be spot cleaned, vacuumed, maybe even blasted with an air compressor to get the dust out of the nooks and crannies. None of these smell like they were from a chain smoker's house or a house with a ton of pets. Some have a "thrift store" or "old storage locker" smell to them so they may need to be laundered or aired out.
