Description
On the occasion of BlueGuitars' 10th anniversary, we created the BlueGuitars Custom Model of Rozeo, a recommended brand that we have been handling for a long time.
It was finally completed.
The Ladybug model is based on the concept of Yasuhiro Higuchi, the luthier who designed and developed the Rozeo, and is manufactured by Terada Musical Instruments.
The basic body size is approximately 14 inches 636mm scale. The compact body is stress-free even when played for long periods of time, and the pitch at each fret stands out. The sound is straight and produces a rich, well-balanced tone.
When it was first developed, it was designed with the image of being casually played by a stylish bluesman, but when it was completed, it turned out to be an instrument that would be suitable for solo guitar and jazz phrases. By adding light distortion, it is compatible with a wider range of sounds, making it an attractive series with high potential that can be used in any genre.
The Blue Guitars Custom we created this time uses curly maple and African mahogany as the basic specs, and an ebony fingerboard as a custom spec. The headstock is colored black instead of the usual natural rosewood, giving it a mature look with traditional colors.
There are still a few things I have brushed up on.
First of all, pick up. Rozeo's P90 basically used dog ears, but now it has a new soap bar type. Different mounts output the resonance of the top of the body and subtle differences in transmission, further expanding the enjoyment of expression.
Next, change the paint finish. By using lacquer in the finish, the original body sound is further improved. You will be able to experience the volume that you cannot imagine from the appearance. This is a model that is looking forward to aging both in sound and looks.
