Madonna Cameo with Floral Halo

This is a unique vitnage shell cameo. It is an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in profile. Our Lady is hsown with her head slightly bowed while enveloped in voluminous robes and veil. Her halo is a striking flower petal pattern. Magnificent.

The cameo is encased in silver but the marking is not legible.
