This rare, porcelain collector piece is white in color with peach hands, face with black hair  .. Gold offsets and trim around collar area..

Base markings consists of a signed bottom: Robj - Paris - made in France

Light signs of previous use and ownership should be considered consistent with age...Previously owned with the decanter still being clean, free of chips, cracks, restoration or craquelure to the glaze...Unfortunately is missing its cap (top hat)..

Robj (pseudonym for Jean Born) created his design company in 1908 which was was active in Paris in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Jean Born At the time, is interested in electrical igniters and registers the models in 1910. Two years after the first world war he adds all artistic trinkets in porcelain...unfortunately Jean Born died in a car accident in 1922 and the company continued under the direction of his partner, Lucien Willmetz...a shareholder in the firm, who takes over the management. He is the one who will really influence and emphasize ROBJ's style. Supported by sculptors, modellers and fire-technicians he initiates a competition of "art trinkets in ceramics", a genuine nursery of talents until 1931..In 1928 come the greatest hits of the firm: liqueur-decanters..Robj actively encouraged Art Deco and Cubist designers and artists, and provided a showcase for their works. Robj sponsored an annual competition between 1927 and 1931 as a means of finding new designers. ...Robj was not a manufacturer, rather a design house where pieces were made under commission by various manufacturers and retailers, such as Villeroy and Boch. However Robj can be considered important in the promotion of Art Deco in ceramics during the period that it came of age.

I stopped taking returns, mostly with porcelain items - if accept,  you have a 3 business day return policy once you receive your package - all shipping fees are non-refundable PLUS RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 30% RE-STOCKING FEE which included having to unwrap and inspect each piece prior to re-stocking..Just re-package in its original packaging materials, box and insured (or similar in size)..Once passes inspection when received, the item purchase price MINUS THE SHIPPING AND 30% will be returned back into your account...
