Use :
Application :
1. Remove all previous materials from mating surfaces
2. For best results, clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent
3. Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size, 1/16" to 1/4" in diameter. A 1/8" cord is usually sufficient for most applications
4. Remove the cap, pierce the tube or cartridge seal and attach the extension nozzle
5. Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to a surface, tracing the internal areas of the joint first, then all surrounding bolt holes of the joint configuration
6. Assemble the parts immediately while the silicone is still wet
7. Tighten the flange with your fingers until material begins to flow from the sides of the flange
8. Allow to cure for at least two hours and tighten at least a quarter to a half turn
9. For best results, allow to harden overnight.
For assembly as a joint dressing
1. Repeat steps 1 to 4 from the previous section
2. Apply a thin film of silicone to one of the surfaces to be sealed.
sealing
3. Place the pre-cut gasket on the silicone film
4. Apply a second thin coat to the surface of the pre-cut joint
5. Remove excess and assemble parts immediately
