A long arm sterling silver tea strainer from the end of Edwardian period and begging of George V  reign .

Drinking tea was at its height with tea rooms abundant for  ladies afternoon teas.

Tea strainer would originally be part of a case set of  Thomas Bradbury -Tea Spoons- Sugar Tongs & and Strainer.

Alas sets get split up , strainer well decorated with ribbons and beading on edge of arm , the support arm is set off at 2 o` clock .

A Old English handle , round finial and tapered arm.

Made by London  makers Thomas Bradbury & Sons in 1911 London.

Made of solid Sterling Silver with a weight of 41.8 grams.

Tea strainer measures 6 " inches overall length. Bowl 2 1/2" diameter
