D'Angelico Premier Series Premier DC, Sky Blue

Description

The PremierDC is a 16 inch (406.4 mm) wide, 1.75 inch (44.45 mm) thick semi-hollow body model with an original double cutaway shape and center block structure, and a stop bar tailpiece.
The pickguard has an original shape that feels typical of D'Angelico, and has a 5-ply tortoise shell pattern.
The top of the body, headstock and neck are decorated with binding and combined with white pearloid block position markers.
The body material is maple, and wood materials such as maple neck and obankol fingerboard are used.
The neck finish is gloss, the scale is 24.75 inches, and the neck joint is a set neck joint.
Additionally, it features a dual-action truss rod that adjusts at the head.
The distinctive headstock design continues the D'Angelico tradition.
The truss rod cover is made of aluminum and has a striking design inspired by the New York City skyscrapers that were lined with Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building) that was popular in New York around 1930.
The pickups are two metal-covered Seymour Duncan-designed humbuckers: the HB-102N humbucker and the HB-101B humbucker.
The controls are a 2 volume, 2 tone, 3 way pickup selector layout. The hardware is unified with chrome, and features a rotomatic type tuner with steer step buttons, and a tune-o-matic & stop bar tailpiece.
The body has a gloss finish and the color is sky blue.
A gig bag is included.
brand history
D'Angelico started in 1932 as a small guitar shop in Little Italy, New York City, New York.
This is a small-batch guitar brand created by brand founder John D'Angelico, who has released guitars that are admired by many guitarists for their sound and carefully crafted beauty.
D'Angelico's archtop guitar was considered a masterpiece of the 20th century, but John passed away in 1964 at the age of 59.
After that, the D'Angelico brand entered a long winter.
In 2011, a project to revive D'Angelico was started in New York in order to inherit the designs and beliefs established by John, who had established a strong position on a global scale, and to create guitars that lived up to the name of the D'Angelico brand.
In the United States, D'Angelico has pioneered the field of solid guitars that appeal to a new user base that is not bound by tradition, releasing models one after another, and rapidly increasing their fan base.
