The first model in the new 2020 Grand Symphony (GS), Builder sEdition816ce brings a new sound and style to the Taylor line.
Crafted with Indian rosewood back and sides, a Lutz spruce top, and V-Class bracing construction, this Builder sEdition 816ce features a SoundPort cutaway, a second sound hole, for wide-angle sound dispersion. Masu.
This creates a natural surround effect, creating a truly symphonic sound.
The scale has also been changed from the previous 25-1 2 inches to a 24-7 8 inch short scale, improving playability.
The Builder sEdition 816ce features the same Builder sEdition design features: a silent satin finish, chamfered body and fingerboard edges, curved wing bridge, and Goto 510 tuner gear ratio of 21:1.
