I purchased this set in the 1960's, in a small shop in San Francisco. They had lots of miniature animals, all imported from Japan. We had these displayed for several years, and then, they were put away. There are no cracks, chips or hairlines. All in very good condition. The largest cat (laying down) is 1.5 inches long. The tiniest one (kitten standing up) is about half an inch long.
