Imperial Palace Casino Las Vegas 1913 Model T Van Ford Die Cast Metal Truck Bank

 

 

This listing is for a toy Ford truck bank, a replica of a 1913 Model T Van.  I purchased this truck from an antique store many, many years ago so I don’t have much info on the item.  It does include a bottom cork which I have never touched.  I cannot tell you whether or not the cork is the original or a replacement.

 

The unit measures approximately 6” long x 3 ½” tall, 3” wide.

 

The serial number of this truck is 1986G, which I believe is an indication of the year manufactured.  But, this is only a guess on my part.

 

It was distributed by “ERTL Co” out of Dyersville, Iowa, but was manufactured in China. 

 

This truck varies from others I’ve seen on e-bay.  It has an all grey body, including the nose and black wall wheels.  I believe this to be an older model than those I’ve seen on e-bay, but I have no way of knowing for sure.  The vehicle is constructed of die cast metal, glossy and durable body paint plus gleaming, chrome trim.  This is a highly detailed, quality crafted replica. 

 

This item has been stored in a smoke-free, environmentally controlled personal residence since its purchase.

The truck appears to be in mint condition.  However, I am not a professional grader of coins, collectibles, antiques or vintage paraphernalia so any indication of condition is simply my opinion.  Look at the photos closely to make your own determination of condition.
